There is a culinary trend that has quickly caught on in Los Angeles. I'm speaking of the mystical "food truck". It's got an underground vibe and sounds kind of like a flash mob of eating. Apparently even Sprinkles Cupcakes has a truck. You are alerted by Twitter that day of where they will pop up next. Very intriguing, I know. The first one I heard about was the Kogi Taco Truck. Their menu is comprised of Korean bbq and Mexican fusion. A unique marriage of flavors that just seems to make sense when you think about it. The item that really stands out is their signature, Korean Short Ribs taco. Sounds like a little bit of Heaven! So I have noticed on their website that they are scheduled to be in my hood tonight. This is where I am planning to be for dinner. I will anxiously await a Tweet from them to confirm the location. Hope it lives up to the hype!
